I can't believe someone said that #150...
I am currently on a building committee at a Catholic church. One of the members expressed the concern that the Mechanical Engineer consultant was...'gasp'...Muslim. They said it "didn't sit well with them".
And people wonder why I have issues with my faith...Tolerance...Jesus...all supposed to go together, people!

I wish I could say I were surprised. The Chronicle of Higher Ed's Review section last week had a front page article about whether and how Muslims and "the West" can cohabit. The Lion's Share of Americans actually believe that the GWoT (Global War of Terrorism) is a revival of some mythical idea of the Crusades, i.e. a war on Islam.
